DuPage Care Center To Host Virtual Fall Festival To Support Residents

The 53rd annual festival will be held online Sept. 19; participants can browse the virtual resident art show, community car show and more.

The DuPage Care Center and the DuPage Care Center Foundation will host the Center’s 53rd annual Fall Festival on Sept. 19. Due to COVID-19, the annual event to support social and leisure activities for residents of the DuPage Care Center will move online at www.dpccfoundation.org. There, people can browse the virtual resident art show, the community car show, and the crafts show.

The public can also pre-order Fall Festival treats, such as apple slices, taffy apples, and cake rolls. Participants can also order fall mums and purchase raffle tickets or donate to the Foundation.

Drive-through pick-up of pre-ordered items will take place between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Care Center, 400 N. County Farm Road. Limited numbers of Fall Festival treats and raffle tickets will also be available onsite that day. All drive-through customers will be asked to remain in their cars. The raffle drawing will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Facebook.

The annual event benefits the Care Center’s Resident Recreation Fund and the DuPage Care Center Foundation, which work to provide residents with quality of life programs and services throughout the year.
