Elmhurst Apartment Complex Nearly Filled Up

ELMHURST, IL – Ten months after it opened, the seven-story Vyne on Haven apartment complex in Elmhurst is now 85 percent full.

The multimillion-dollar complex is at Haven Road and First Street.

As of Thursday, 169 of the 200 apartments were rented out, according to Vyne's website. That's up by eight from a month ago.

The monthly rents range from $2,075 for a one-bedroom to $3,561 for a two-bedroom. The three-bedroom units have all been rented out.

Patch tracks the numbers each month because some residents assert that Elmhurst has enough apartments already.

At a City Council meeting in June, Mayor Scott Levin expressed confidence that Vyne on Haven would fill up.

"I've seen on social media stories about how the Vyne is under-leased," the mayor said. "It's really ahead of the game of where it's supposed to be. This is our fourth close-to-200-unit rental space that is in demand. That really supports our downtown businesses."

The complex was developed by Minneapolis-based Ryan Companies.

In January 2022, the City Council unanimously approved the Vyne on Haven apartment building. A few months later, ground was broken.
