Elmhurst Garden Club Donates $4,500 to Elmhurst Park District
The donation comes from proceeds made at the Garden Club's 2015 Annual Garden Walk and Faire.

The Elmhurst Garden Club and the Chair of the Elmhurst Garden Walk & Faire, Mary Carollo, presented the Elmhurst Park District Board of Park Commissioners with a donation check for $4,500 on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

The donation comes from proceeds made at the Garden Club’s 2015 Annual Garden Walk and Faire.
The donation will be used for camp program scholarships, for funding the Playground for Everyone, a universal, accessible playground planned for Butterfield Park, and for increasing the number and variety of plants at the Monarch Butterfly Waystation at Eldridge Park, which provides natural resources for monarchs as they migrate.
