Elmhurst to Host Downtown Plan Public Hearing
The hearing will take place Feb. 25. at City Hall.

Elmhurst, IL - A public hearing for the proposed Downtown Plan will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. in City Hall’s Council Chambers.
The City has hired planning consultants, Houseal Lavigne, to analyze the downtown area and construct a plan that will be used as the City’s official guide to direct growth, investments, and development within the downtown area.

After several meetings and workshops, an open house event was held Jan. 7 where feedback was received from the public on the draft of the Downtown Plan.

Once approved, the city will use the plan as the official guide to building the future of downtown Elmhurst.
