Elmhurst Man Arrested Again In Domestic Disturbance: Cops
He threatened a woman at her home, where a judge barred him from going, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of disorderly conduct, violation of a court order, electronic harassment and DUI. Here is information from Elmhurst's latest arrest log:
Disorderly conduct
- A 33-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 300 block of North Myrtle Avenue was arrested about 10 p.m. Friday at his house on charges of violating his pretrial release and disorderly conduct. Police said a woman reported that the man threatened her. He admitted to arguing with her. A court order barred him from being at the house. On July 20, he was arrested at his home on charges of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence. Police said the man grabbed a woman's wrist during an argument, preventing her from calling 911. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

- A 20-year-old Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, man, was arrested Thursday on a charge of electronic harassment involving an obscene message. The incident occurred about 6 p.m. March 27. Police said a woman at Elmhurst University, 190 S. Prospect Ave., reported she received a harassing text. The man turned himself in on a warrant. He was released.
Reckless driving
- An 18-year-old Lombard man was cited about 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Roosevelt Road and York Street on charges of reckless driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash, following too closely and improper lane usage. He was released.

- A 25-year-old Maywood man was arrested about 3 a.m. Sunday at York Street and Vallette Avenue on charges of DUI, suspended plates, child restraint violation, endangering the life of a child, and stopping or parking in the roadway. He was taken to the police station and then released. A passenger in the car, 23-year-old Hanover Park resident Natyeria Vanzant, was wanted on a Cook County warrant for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Vanzant was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 59-year-old Elmwood Park man was arrested about 9 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of North York Street on charges of DUI, driving an uninsured car and illegal transportation of alcohol. Police said they were told the man was asleep behind the wheel. He was taken to the police station and then released.
