Elmhurst Man Charged With Aggravated Battery: Cops

The man faces several charges in an incident at his house, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police released their arrest log Friday. Here is information from the reports:

Aggravated battery

  • A man was arrested on charges of felony aggravated battery, domestic battery (three counts), resisting an officer and disorderly conduct. The incident was about 11:30 p.m. last Saturday at his house. Police said he battered victims while he was intoxicated. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail three days later.

Stolen car

  • John Z. Kammrad, 19, of Elgin, was arrested about 2 a.m. Tuesday at Interstate 290 and York Street on charges of aggravated unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, fleeing and eluding an officer, disobeying a traffic signal, not driving on the right side of the road, improper lighting and failure to signal when required. Police said they found a gun in his car. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
