Elmhurst Man Fights At Music Venue: Cops
In another case, a woman stole and inhaled intoxicants, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of battery, retail theft, disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of a gun and DUI. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst arrest log:
Battery
- A 39-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 100 block of North Willow Road was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Friday downtown on a battery charge. Police said the man got in a fight with two others at Stage 119, a live music venue at 119 N. York St. He was served with a no-trespass notice and released.
Disorderly conduct

- A 31-year-old Naperville woman was arrested about 1 p.m. Thursday at Ebel's Ace Hardware, 1028 S. York St., on charges of retail theft and disorderly conduct. Police said the woman stole and inhaled intoxicants. She was taken to the Elmhurst Hospital and then discharged. She was served with a no-trespass notice and released.
Gun felonies
- Billy Valentin, 67, of Joliet, was arrested about 1 a.m. Saturday at North and Railroad avenues on charges of possession of a weapon by a felon, aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon without a firearm owner's identification card, aggravated possession of a weapon without a concealed carry license, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, DUI (drugs) and improper lane usage. Police said an officer saw Valentin veering over North Avenue lane lines.
Violation of pretrial release

- A 50-year-old Willowbrook man was arrested about 11 p.m. Saturday on a charge of violating his pretrial release. Police said he was trying to contact a woman at The Grove of Elmhurst nursing home, 127 W. Diversey Ave., which violated the terms of his release. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI
- A 26-year-old Crystal Lake woman was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of South Route 83 on charges of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, driving with a suspended license and driving an uninsured car. She was taken to the police department and then released.
- A 41-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Sunday at North and Berteau avenues on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. He was taken to the police station and then released.
- A 23-year-old Addison man was arrested about 3 a.m. Sunday at Grand Avenue and York Street on charges of DUI, driving on the wrong side of the road, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage. He was taken to the police station and then released.
