Elmhurst Officers Were Spit On, Hit at Adelaide Parking Deck

Elmhurst, IL - Elmhurst police were called around 12:56 a.m. Jan. 10 for repots of a man pulling on the door handles of cars parked at the Adelaide parking deck.

Officers spoke with Eno Cela, 32 of the 900 block of N Craig in Addison, who denied trying to get into the cars, but Cela was uncooperative, according to Elmhurst police.

Police report Cela hit one of the officers with an open hand on the left arm, and he was arrested for battery. Police report Cela then spit on an officer.

Cela was charged with aggravated battery x2.
