Elmhurst Trucking Firm Undergoes Renovation
The company said it aims to promote healthy living for its truckers.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst's Super Ego Holding, a trucking firm in the northside industrial park, has finished the next phase of its renovation.
The business, which is at 677 N. Larch Ave., said it will move into the new space once the city performs its final inspection.
Much of the new space will be used for the company's office space. A new kitchen has been built for truckers as well as a room that will be used as a gym.

The existing office space will be renovated into a lounge for truckers, the business said. Super Ego hopes to move in vending machines that would provide both fresh and organic sandwiches for truckers.
Mila Krcevinac, Super Ego's vice president of business development, gave Patch a tour of the building Monday. She said her company stresses a healthy lifestyle.
"I don't want truckers to just have chips," she said. "Some days we have apple days. We can't require them to eat healthy or go to the gym. We can help them."
In the existing office space, Super Ego's Alfredo Manning spoke to a couple of dozen truckers.
He gives them lessons on how to deal with life on the road, including healthy eating. He maintains a YouTube channel about those same issues.
"No other trucking company will help with things like this," Krcevinac said.
