Elmhurst Women Batter Man At Store: Cops
Both women denied taking part in a fight, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Two Elmhurst women battered a man at a local store in early October and were arrested a month later, police said.
The women are 49 and 36 and live in the 300 block of North Emroy Avenue, police said.
The incident occurred about 5 p.m. Oct. 5 at Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83.

In interviews afterward, both women denied to officers that a fight had happened, police said. They were arrested on Nov. 5.
The 49-year-old was charged with domestic battery (two counts), attempted domestic battery, criminal property damage, aggravated assault, attempted mob action, attempted aggravated battery and mob action.

The 36-year-old was charged with attempted aggravated battery, attempted mob action, battery (two counts) and mob action.
The charges were not listed as felonies. The women were taken to the DuPage County Jail.
