ELMHURST, IL – Ninety percent of the units at the Vyne on Haven apartment complex are now rented out, according to its website.

Fifteen months after downtown building's April 2024 opening, 180 of the 200 apartments are occupied. That is above the 177 in April, the last time that Patch checked.

Of the available units, monthly rents range from $2,198 for a studio to $6,453 for a three-bedroom.

At a City Council meeting a year ago, Mayor Scott Levin expressed confidence that Vyne on Haven would fill up.

"I've seen on social media stories about how the Vyne is under-leased," the mayor said. "It's really ahead of the game of where it's supposed to be. This is our fourth close-to-200-unit rental space that is in demand. That really supports our downtown businesses."

The complex was developed by Minneapolis-based Ryan Companies.

In January 2022, the City Council unanimously approved the Vyne on Haven apartment building. A few months later, ground was broken.
