Fourth of July weekend brings six DUI arrests in Elmhurst

The following arrest information was supplied by the Elmhurst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Chantelle Krown, 28, of Plainfield was arrested July 3 for driving under the influence, injury to city property, driving too fast for conditions, improper lane usage and driving without insurance in the 600 block of Swain, according to Elmhurst police reports. She was released on bond.

Christian Sandoval-Padill, 23, of Franklin Park was arrested July 3 for driving under the influence, attempted obstruction, unlawful possession of cannabis, failure to signal and operating an uninsured motor vehicle near the intersection of Grand and Wilson, according to Elmhurst police reports. He was released on bond.

Anna Parker, 31, of Wood Dale was arrested July 4 for driving under the influence, possession of cannabis and disobeying a traffic control device in the vicinity of Vallette and York Road, according to Elmhurst police reports. She was released on bond.

Luis Chaguya-Obarra, 23, of Villa Park was arrested July 5 for driving under the influence, endangering the life and health of a child, disobeying a traffic control device and driving without a valid license in the vicinity of Grand and York Road, according to Elmhurst police reports. He was released on bond.

Richard Rankin, 58, of Hanover Park was arrested July 5 for driving under the influence, possession of cannabis, transportation of open alcohol and disobeying a traffic control device near Route 83 and Lake Street, according to Elmhurst police reports. He was released on bond.

Rafal Zaniewski, 20, of Chicago was arrested July 5 for driving under the influence, improper signaling and driving without a seat belt in the vicinity of Route 83 and Lake Street, according to Elmhurst police reports. He was released on bond.
