The manager asked them to leave because of their intoxication, so he walked them to the door, police said. The other man had no problem with the instruction, while the 42-year-old got in the manager's face and pushed his body against the manager's, police said. A witness verified what happened.
The 42-year-old man said he did nothing wrong. He had trouble standing and walking, almost falling over a chair. An officer asked him to sit down; he balked at doing so at first.

At the police station, an officer tried to fingerprint him, but he stared at her and balled his right hand into a fist, police said. She called another officer for help.
The 42-year-old said he wanted a male officer to assist him, not a female, police said. The female officer obliged.
He was released to his wife and a friend. His wife told police that someone saw him get arrested and took a video of it, sending her the footage. That is how she knew to go to the station to pick up her husband, police said.
The man was charged with battery. He was also served with a no-trespass notice for the restaurant.
