Illness Causes Bensenville Village Hall To Close

BENSENVILLE, IL – Bensenville Village Hall, which serves a town of 18,000, is closing at noon Friday because of illness, the village announced in the morning.
"We are sorry for the inconvenience," the village said on social media.
The village did not indicate how many employees were sick.

Without any explanation, the Village Board voted unanimously in late November to fire Village Manager Evan Summers after eight years. Police Chief Dan Schulze is serving as interim manager.
