Knife-Wielding Cab Driver Threatens Another Cab Driver

Elmhurst police responded at 5:32 a.m. Nov. 10 for reports of a cab driver pulling a knife on another cab driver at Park Avenue and Adell Place.

The two cab drivers had been arguing over a GPS that was sold to one of them, according to Elmhurst police

The driver with the knife, identified as Dylan B Kelenzon, 21 of the 21300 block of North Vermont Court in Kildeer, was trying to get the other driver’s attention while that driver was in his cab, so Kelenzon pounded on the cab window, police reported.

The cab driver with the GPS got out of his cab, and Kelenzon pulled out the knife, police reported.

Kelenzon was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. He was released on bond.
