Man Breaks Into Car Dealership to Steal Snow Plow: Elmhurst Police

The incident happened between New Year's Day and Jan. 2.

Sometime between New Year’s Eve and Jan. 2, Elmhurst’s Honda dealership at 300 W. Grand was broken into and an unknown thief went straight for a snow plow, which was stolen and still hasn’t been located.

According to police reports, dealership representatives said someone had cut open a locked gate — an employee found the padlock that had been securing the gate cut off — and stolen a company-owned vehicle from the south lot of the dealership.

The stolen vehicle was a 2004 Ford F250 Supercab with an attached red snow plow.
