A man reported that someone rang his doorbell around 1 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 400 block of North Oak and claimed to be "with the City."He said he wanted to install an electric pole in the back yard of the home, according to Elmhurst police.The homeowner did not let the person into his home or his back yard. The man then left the scene heading west on Fremont.
