Man Flashes Gun At Elmhurst Hospital: Cops
In other cases, Elmhurst men were arrested on domestic battery charges, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of aggravated battery, domestic battery, retail theft, disorderly conduct and drunken driving. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst arrest log:
Aggravated battery
- Elijah Flowers, 27, of Maywood, was arrested about 10 p.m. Thursday at Elmhurst Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Road, on charges of aggravated battery in a public place, aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon (four counts), domestic battery (two counts) and aggravated assault. Police said he pointed a gun at a person and then fled. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

- A 32-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 600 block of North West Avenue was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Thursday at his home on two counts of domestic battery and one count of interfering with the reporting of domestic violence. Police said the man battered a woman and damaged her phone. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 27-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 800 block of North York Street was arrested about 4 a.m. Aug. 13 at his home on two counts of domestic battery. Police said he battered someone and was found to already have a DuPage County warrant charging domestic violence. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Battery
- A 56-year-old La Grange man was arrested about 3 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Scott Street on a battery charge. Police said the man spat in another man's face. He was released.

- A 25-year-old Moreno Valley, California, was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Friday at Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83, on a retail theft charge. He was released.
Disorderly conduct
- A 37-year-old Bensenville man was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Sunday at 7-Eleven, 572 S. York St., on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing identification. Police said the man was drunk, yelling in the 7-Eleven and refused to identify himself. He was released.
Stolen car
- A 29-year-old Omaha, Nebraska, man was arrested about 8 a.m. Sunday at Route 83 and Riverside Drive on charges of criminal trespass to a vehicle and being a fugitive from justice. He was wanted on a Council Bluffs, Iowa, warrant. Police said he was stopped in a car that was reported stolen. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI
- A 48-year-old Franklin Park man was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at North Avenue and Route 83 on charges of DUI (drugs), unlawful possession of a controlled substance (two counts), possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 33-year-old Chicago woman was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday at North Avenue and Ridgeland Avenue on charges of DUI, failure to signal when required and improper lighting. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
