Mexican Restaurant Coming To Elmhurst 'Soonish'

ELMHURST, IL – A Mexican restaurant in Bloomingdale plans a second location in Elmhurst.

Steak Burrito Mexican Grill is set to open at 929 S. York St. This is the site of the old Harlo Grill, which closed last year.

Brenda and Noe Barrios co-own Steak Burrito.

In an email to Patch late last week, Brenda said they aim to open the restaurant in April or sooner, if possible.

"We're very excited about our upcoming opening in Elmhurst, hopefully soonish! We're working with the health department and the city to obtain the necessary permits," she said. "Very hopeful that everything will go smoothly."
