New Nutella Flavor Coming In 2026, Will Be Made In Chicago Suburbs

A $75 million development project will create 65 new local jobs to make the spread, with production slated to start later in the year.

FRANKLIN PARK, IL — A new flavor of Nutella coming to stores next year will be manufactured in the Chicago suburbs, according to the brand’s parent company.

Nutella Peanut, a chocolate spread featuring both hazelnuts and peanuts, will be made at candy company Ferrero’s Franklin Park facility for the North American market.

A $75 million development project will create 65 new local jobs to make the spread, with production slated to start later in the year. Nutella Peanut is expected to be available in stores for spring 2026.

Also set to be manufactured in Franklin Park is Ferrero’s new Butterfinger flavor, Butterfinger Marshmallow, which will hit the market in time for Halloween along with the new Crunch White bar, with white chocolate, which will be made in Bloomington.
