New Panoramic Movie Screen In Chicago Suburbs Is State's First
Moviegoers will have "key cinematic moments literally surrounding them" in the 270-degree experience at Marcus Addison Cinema.

ADDISON, IL — Film lovers in the Chicago area can now see the movies in a 270-degree panoramic experience.
Marcus Addison Cinema is home to the region’s first ScreenX multi-projection cinema technology, which extends select movie scenes onto the left and right walls of the auditorium for audiences, “with key cinematic moments literally surrounding them,” according to a news release from Marcus Theatres.
The Addison theater marked the launch of ScreenX with a viewing of Marvel’s “Thunderbolts*” on Tuesday for rewards members and guests. The first public showings start Thursday.
