Due to the anticipated severe weather late this afternoon and evening, the Elmhurst Park Board's 4:30 p.m. special meeting has been canceled. The meeting was to include a tour of parks under consideration for use as part of the City of Elmhurst’s stormwater management solution. In addition, the presentation to the Park Board by the City of Elmhurst and Burke Engineering regarding the proposed stormwater solutions, planned to take place as part of the agenda for tonight’s regularly scheduled meeting at 7 p.m., has also been canceled. The regularly scheduled Park Board meeting, minus the City of Elmhurst presentation, will take place as scheduled at the Abbey tonight at 7 p.m. The Elmhurst Park District will reschedule the tour and presentation for a later date.
