ELMHURST, IL – Nearly 4½ months after opening, the seven-story Vyne on Haven apartment complex in Elmhurst continues to see increases in occupancy.

The multimillion-dollar complex opened April 1 at Haven Road and First Street.

As of Tuesday, 113 of the 200 apartments were rented out. That's up by eight from a month ago.

The monthly rents range from $2,150 for a one-bedroom to $5,526 for a three-bedroom, according to Vyne's website.

At a City Council meeting last month, Mayor Scott Levin expressed confidence that Vyne on Haven would fill up.

"I've seen on social media stories about how the Vyne is under-leased," the mayor said. "It's really ahead of the game of where it's supposed to be. This is our fourth close-to-200-unit rental space that is in demand. That really supports our downtown businesses."

The complex was developed by Minneapolis-based Ryan Companies.

In January 2022, the City Council unanimously approved the Vyne on Haven apartment building. A few months later, ground was broken.
