One Dead, One Injured After Head-On Crash in Oak Brook
Police were called Thursday morning to the crash where a car went over a median.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a Thursday morning car crash in Oak Brook, and another driver suffered traumatic injuries.
Oak Brook police and fire were called around 9:43 a.m. Nov. 12 to 31st Street, west of Regent Drive, for the two-car crash, according to Oak Brook police.
Oak Brook Fire Department personnel brought the injured driver to a local hospital.

The initial investigation shows one car was going west on 31st Street, west of Regent Drive, when the car went over the median into the eastbound lanes. The car crashed head on with another car in the eastbound lanes.
The deceased woman was the driver of the car that went over the median, police report.

The DuPage County Coroner and the Felony Investigative Assistance Team also responded to the scene to help Oak Brook police and to conduct the crash reconstruction and investigation.
The crash is still under investigation.
