Plan For 2nd Yorky's Eatery In Elmhurst
A bigger dining room and kitchen are in the works, the restaurant said.

ELMHURST, IL – Yorky's fast food restaurant in Elmhurst plans to open its second local location in a few months.
"We are definitely aiming to open this year, most likely we are shooting for a November opening," the restaurant said in an email to Patch on Thursday.
The second Yorky's is set for the old Back Alley Burger location at 609 W. St. Charles Road.

The eatery has been at 836 N. York St. since 1975. It was rebuilt in the last decade.
The new restaurant will feature a bigger dining room and kitchen, the restaurant said.

"The general idea is we are using what we have learned at the original location to provide customers with a flawless experience from the food to the ambiance while maintaining the same family atmosphere at the second location," Yorky's said in the email.
Yorky's says it specializes in broasted chicken as well as gyros, Greek salads, kebabs and pasta.
