Plow Truck Swiped from Local Car Dealership: Elmhurst Police
The truck was reported stolen the afternoon of Jan. 14.
A vehicle that a local dealership used as a plow truck was stolen onsite earlier this month, Elmhurst police reported late last week.
The car, a black Ford F250 pickup truck, was swiped from the Ed Napleton Kia dealership at 272 W. Grand Ave. around 2 p.m. Jan. 14, according to police reports.
Video footage confirmed the suspect as a white male who had been wearing a black hat, black coat and black pants at the time of the theft. He had crawled through the back window of the truck to gain access to the car and proceeded to steal it.
