Police Catch Drinking Teens Going to a Party After Curfew

Officers found the two teens had cannabis, tobacco, alcohol and illegal fireworks.

Police investigating a report of suspicious teenagers found two juveniles at 12:39 a.m. Jan. 30 who were violating curfew were also in possession of cannabis and tobacco.

Both teens had drank beer, and they were on their way to a party when police stopped them at Cottage Hill and St Charles, according to Elmhurst police.

The teens were arrested and taken to the police station. One of the teenagers was charged with underage drinking, breaking curfew and possession of alcohol by a minor. The other teen was charged with underage drinking, breaking curfew, illegal fireworks and possession of alcohol by a minor.

They were both released to parents.
