Ward 1 Aldermen Marti Deuter and Diane Gutenkauf will hold a Coffee and Conversation meeting on June 20 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Courageous Bakery, 108 W. Park Ave.
The Coffee and Conversation meetings provide an opportunity for residents to hear updates, ask questions, and share ideas. The topic of the June meeting is safety. Elmhurst Police Chief Michael Ruth will present an overview of the police department’s strategies and participate in the discussion.
First Ward boundaries are York Road from North to St. Charles Road., St Charles from York to Villa Avenue., Villa from St. Charles to the Union Pacific Tracks, the railroad tracks to Oak Street, the east side of Oak Street from First to North Avenue, and North Avenue from Oak to York.
All First Ward residents are invited to attend.
