Police Find Pot Cookies in Car with Four Juveniles

The driver had a black bag containing cookies that had cannabis in them.

Police pulled over a car Jan. 28 for not having a rear registration plate and for passengers not using seat belts at Van Buren and Mitchell.

The driver was found to have a black bag containing cookies that had cannabis in them, according to Elmhurst police.

The car’s four juvenile occupants were taken to the police station. Two juveniles were cited for not wearing seat belts, one juvenile was released without charges and one juvenile was cited for possession of cannabis, police reported.
