Wood Dale, IL - Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an elderly Wood Dale man and his wife who were reported missing early Wednesday.

Donald Warren, 87, and his wife, Janette Warren, 80, both suffer from dementia and were reported missing by their family after they left for a doctor’s appointment Tuesday morning and did not return home, according to a Wood Dale Police Department press release.

They were last seen by the Cary Police Department officer, who made contact with the couple in their vehicle around 1 a.m. Wednesday before the vehicle left the location and headed east on Route 14. This took place before Wood Dale Police were notified that the couple was missing.

The couple was last seen driving a 2006 Silver Dodge Caravan with Illinois plates of 18843CV. The van has distinct markings on the side and contains the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps logo, which is an organization located in the Rosemont area that Donald Warren has been a part of for many years, according to police.

Anyone with information about the couple’s location, or who may have spotted their vehicle, should contact Wood Dale police at 630-766-2060.
