Review Elmhurst Food Truck Rules: Aldermen
They want the city to consider letting restaurants park the trucks on their properties.
ELMHURST, IL – A pair of Elmhurst aldermen are asking the City Council to review the rules for the storage of food trucks and trailers.
Ward 2 aldermen Karen Sienko and Jacob Hill said the city's current regulations permit food trucks to be stored in certain industrial zones. But food trailers are not allowed.
They want a council committee to consider the possibility of allowing the storage of food trucks and trailers that are used by restaurants and other food service industry businesses that are zoned as commercial.
