Runner's Soul to Support Boston With Group Run
The Elmhurst Runner's Soul will have a group run on Monday, April 22, to raise money for One Fund Boston in the wake of the bombings at the Boston Marathon.
Independent running stores across the country are holding group runs Monday to show solidarity for Boston in the wake of the tragic bombings at the Boston Marathon.
The 2.62-mile run in Elmhurst will begin at The Runner's Soul, 124 N. York, at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 22. T-shirts that say "Runners for Boston" will be available for $20, and all proceeds will to go One Fund Boston.
"Running stores across the country were all hit very close to home by what happened Monday in Boston," a Runner's Soul news release stated. "We’re a small family with many of our owners and employees, as well as customers gather each year for the Boston Marathon."

Runners are also encouraged to wear their gear from past Boston marathons in which they might have participated.
The Runner's Soul in La Grange also will host a run at the same time, at 5 S. La Grange Road.

Runners should RSVP to info@therunnerssoul.com with the number of participants in their group and the location (Elmhurst or La Grange). To reserve a T-shirt, include the size in the RSVP.
