ELMHURST, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes

No

What does the nominee do for work?:

Fr. Jason is the Catholic priest who has been serving the sick in the hospital, including those with COVID19, since shelter-in-place began. He never complains and does his job tirelessly.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?

Fr. Jason was selected to be the Catholic priest serving the sick in the hospital(s) because of his previous experience as a paramedic (at Columbine). He is not afraid to put his life on the line. He serves without complaint. He is a man of faith who puts his faith into action without regard for himself.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:

Fr. Jason serves tirelessly and fearlessly. He wants to make sure that the sick have their spiritual needs met in these uncertain and trying times.
