Six Arrests for DUI Were Made in Elmhurst May 11-16.

Drivers were pulled over between 1 and 4 a.m.

Elmhurst police reported the following DUI arrests between May 11 and 16.

Lauren Vavra, 22, 18W108 Claremont Drive, Darien, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police pulled over her white Chevrolet Cruze for speeding, failure to signal and improper lane use at Cottage Hill and St. Charles at 2:28 a.m. May 11. She was released on bond.

Johnnie Torres, 26, 4114 N. Troy St., Chicago, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his white Chrysler 300 for speeding at North and York at 2:35 a.m. May 11. He was released on bond.

Matthew Summerfield, 31, 875 E. Second Ave. Apt. 204, Lombard, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after police pulled over his blue Honda Civic for speeding at First and Highland at 1:11 a.m. May 12. He was released on bond.

Kevin E. Berg, 239 Claremont, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI, obstructing a peace officer and failure to yield after police pulled over his green Toyota Camry for disobeying a stop sign and speeding at Addison and Second at 1:53 a.m. May 12. A passenger in the vehicle, Evan J. Fendley, 21, 201 N. Geneva St., Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with obstructing a peace officer. They were released on bond.

Daniel Palczynski, 27, 120 W. Hillside Drive, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with DUI at North Avenue and Route 83 at 3:40 a.m. May 12. He was released on bond.

Eamon Hennen, 26, 472 S. Kenilworth, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after police pulled over his gray Mazda 3 for improper lane use and expired registration at York and Adams at 1 a.m. May 16. He was released on bond.
