Elmhurst, IL - Elmhurst residents found a man standing in their kitchen April 4 after he walked into their home in the 300 block of S. Hill through an unlocked front door.The residents told police the man entered their home, then walked further inside and stood in the kitchen's threshold, according to Elmhurst police.The man left the home when he was confronted by the residents.Police found Michael D Devaney, 54 of the 4200 block of Saratoga Street in Downers Grove, by a neighbor's home next door. He was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to residence, police reported.
