Woman Arrested for Interfering With Phone Call Placed to Report Her Abuse

She tried to knock the phone out of a victim's hand, as well as unplug the phone.

Susan Glickman, 35, was arrested Nov. 29 for both domestic violence and interfering with a phone call placed to report that abuse.

According to Elmhurst police reports, Glickman knocked items off of the kitchen counter, and the victim with her tried at that time to call 911.

Glickman reportedly swung her arm, attempting to grab the phone out of the victim’s hand, but was unsuccessful. In a second attempt, she unplugged the base of the phone, hoping it would disconnect the call.
