Woman Locks Eyes with Burglar in Her Home
She heard bangs upstairs Nov. 17 and went to investigate.

A woman reported while she was in the basement of her home around 11:30 a.m. Nov. 17, she heard two lound bangs upstairs.
When she went to investigate the sound, she made eye contact with a burglar standing in her unlocked, enclosed porch, according to Elmhurst police.
The man left the porch in the 200 block of North Clinton and walked quickly northbound on Clinton.

The woman described the burglar as a white man, about 30 years old, medium build, wearing a red hoodie and a baseball cap, police reported.
