Woman Waves Knife At Elmhurst Store: Police
In another case, a man is accused of making two purchases with counterfeit bills.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police charged people with disorderly conduct, delivering forged documents, retail theft, domestic battery, assault and DUI. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst arrest log:
Disorderly conduct
- A 47-year-old Villa Park woman was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Jewel, 153 E. Schiller St., on a disorderly conduct charge. Police said they received a report of the woman waving a knife and yelling. She was released.

- Scott Olutobi, 25, of Chicago, was arrested Thursday on three counts of issuing or delivering a forged document. The incident occurred about 5 p.m. Feb. 5 at Kilwins ice cream shop, 148 N. York St. Police said he made two purchases with counterfeit bills. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Retail theft
- A 76-year-old Maywood man was cited about 4 p.m. Thursday at Jewel, 944 S. York St., on a retail theft charge. Police said the man stole packages of water. He was released.

- A 37-year-old Lombard man was arrested about 1 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of North Kenilworth Avenue on two counts of domestic battery and a count of criminal property damage. Police said the drunken man battered a woman and broke a kitchen window. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Assault
- A 57-year-old Wheaton man was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of North Addison Avenue on charges of assault and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also wanted on a Kane County warrant. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI
- A 37-year-old Woodridge woman was arrested shortly before midnight Saturday at Schiller Street and Haven Avenue on charges of DUI, driving the wrong way and possession of alcohol by a driver. She was released.
- A 35-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Lake Street and Interstate 290 on charges of DUI (drugs), unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana in a car, improper turn and improper lane usage. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 23-year-old Arlington Heights man was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Sunday at York Street and Park Avenue on charges of DUI, carrying a gun while under the influence of alcohol and unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver. Police said they found the man asleep behind the wheel. He was released.
