EP Recreation Department in full Spring/Summer Mode
Day Camps, Concerts, Sports, a Parade, Fireworks and More

On any given day, residents who come to register for a Recreation Department activity will be warmly greeted by any one of these ladies, whether it be Karen, Josie or Jill.
They make it all happen; the preschool, the sports programs, the art classes, exercise classes and the popular dance program. All this, not to mention the Easter, Halloween and Christmas festivals, the Candlelight Theatre program, plus a little thing called the Independence Day parade.
The Evergreen Park Recreation Department was established in 1970 and many of the original programs are still provided today. Since then, we have added the Daniel Capuano Ice Rink at Yukich Fields, and the golf driving range at 50-Acre Park. Yukich Fields, added in 2001, provides an additional place for softball, soccer, lacrosse, football fields and a walking track.
