Are you a beginner who would like to learn the basics of sewing? Or, do you know the basics, but would like to move on to a more advanced level?
The Evergreen Park Youth Department may have the program that is right for you!
Coming once again in the Fall, and continuing through April, the Youth Department is offering the very popular Youth Sewing Classes.

“We have two sets of classes to offer, “ commented Ms. Pyeisha Allen, Director of Youth Services. “We have a series of four-week sessions geared to beginners,” she continued. “But if you have taken that class and wish to move on, we also have a four-week program geared to youths who have learned the basics.”
All classes are taught by Mrs. Theresa Tribble, who has led the program for the last three years.

Classes begin on Tuesdays (September 9, 16, 23, 30) or Wednesdays (September 3, 10, 17, 24)
The Beginner Classes take place from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, with the Continuing Classes starting at 6:00pm and going until 7:30pm.
Beginner Classes are $24 for the four-week session; the Continuing Classes are $32 for the four weeks.
Each class is limited to four students and is open to youths in grades 5-12.
