Evergreen Park Adds Final Touches To The Parade
55th Annual Independence Day Parade set for 6:30pm on Friday, June 27
The Evergreen Park Recreation Department remains full speed ahead with preparations for Friday’s Independence Day Parade, which would be the 55th Annual running of this Evergreen Park family tradition. Turning a blind eye to the slight chance of precipitation, all systems are go for the 6:30pm kickoff.
The parade is scheduled for Friday, June 27, with the firetrucks from Evergreen Park and neighboring villages leading the way eastward down 95th Street, with lights and horns ablaze.

The parade will be professionally videotaped and the highlights, with commentary, will be available on the village website by the beginning of next week.

Fireworks are scheduled to begin at dusk (approximately 9:00pm) at Duffy Park, 92nd and Millard.
In the event of heavy rain, the makeup date for the fireworks will be announced, so please stay tuned to our website. There would be no makeup day for the parade.
