The EP United Homeowners would like to remind you that voting day for the Illinois Consolidated General Election is coming on Tuesday, April 4.

Village of Evergreen Park Trustees James McQuillan, Jeannie Olson and Mark Marzullo are on the ballot for re-election this year, representing the Evergreen Park United Homeowners Party.

Jeannie Olson was born and raised in Evergreen Park and currently resides here with her husband and two children. She is involved with Most Holy Redeemer Parish in many capacities and has also spent ten years serving on Southwest Elementary School’s PTA/Boosters. Jeannie also co-chairs the “Homeless Veteran Toiletry Drive” every fall through Hines VA Hospital. Her duties as Trustee include being a member of the Citizens’ Services, Recreation and Youth Committee. She also serves on the Economic Development Task Force.

Mark Marzullo has served the Village of Evergreen Park as Trustee since 1996 and currently serves as a chairman of the finance committee and is also a member of the Public Safety and Recreation/Youth/Senior Citizens’ Committee. As chairman of the finance committee, Mark works closely with the Mayor and Village Treasurer to develop and balance the village budget. “The village is not unlike a typical family trying to balance its budget,” he says. “Your village officials believe and promote that same philosophy.”

Jim McQuillan has lived and worked in Evergreen Park for over forty years. As Trustee, Jim chairs the committee for laws and ordinances, keeping the village a safe and healthy area to live. He also works with the other trustees on park maintenance, zoning and development and the Citizens’ Services/Recreation and Youth Committee.

The village has seen many recent improvements, including the strengthening of our business corridor and the renovations at several of our local parks. A new Activity Center is now under construction, while the Village continues its traditions of providing programs, festivals and fun, safe opportunities for the families of Evergreen Park.

The Village Board also takes great pride in the safety and protection of our residents, as provided by a strong police and fire department.

Please support your EP United Homeowners Party, who continues to work towards providing the best for the residents of Evergreen Park.

Come out and vote on Tuesday, April 4!
