2 Killed In Crash Involving Garbage Truck In Will County: State Police
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, and four people were taken to area hospitals for treatment, police said.
WILL COUNTY, IL — Two people were killed Thursday in a crash between a garbage truck and two passenger vehicles on US 45, south of Offner Road, in Will County, the Illinois State Police said.
The crash happened at 11:19 a.m. Thursday, police said. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, and four people were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
The road remains closed, and the crash investigation is still active, police said.
