Amtrak Train Strikes and Kills a Man on Tracks in Peotone
An unidentified man was struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Peotone.
An unidentified man was struck and killed Aug. 2 when he was struck by an Amtrak Train.
The Will County Coroner's Office reports that the victim was crossing the tracks when a train struck him. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:10 p.m. Aug. 2.
An autopsy on Saturday revealed that he died of multiple injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
