Cash, Cigarettes Stolen In Speedway Robbery: Sheriff's Office
Will County Sheriff's Office is investigating last month's incident involving 3 men.

FRANKFORT, IL — The Will County Sheriff's Department is investigating a robbery at the Speedway gas station on Harlem Avenue, just north of Vollmer Road. No one was hurt in the March 20 incident.
According to the sheriff's department, deputies responded to a robbery call at around 2:30 a.m. at the Speedway, 19730 S. Harlem Ave. A station employee told deputies that three men with their faces covered had entered while he was in the backroom.
One of the men stood by the door while the other two went behind the counter and ordered the employ to open the register, the sheriff's department said. The men took money from the register, as well as an unknown number of cigarette packs, and then fled the station.
