Children's Book Character Comes To Life At Free Storytime Event

FRANKFORT, IL — Children and their families will get to leap into adventure along with a popular children's book character during Kiddie Academy's Storytime LIVE! event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The featured read will be books from the "Froggy" series by Jonathan London, with a special appearance by the title character.

"It's a series of books, and there are a lot of fun, silly books with great language in them," said Kiddie Academy Curriculum Project Manager Carmen Draayer. "Froggy gets into different funny situations but always seems to come out on top."

The event is free and recommended for infants to school age children, Draayer said. Registration is required for the event.

Kiddie Academy is located at 9473 W. St. Francis Road in Frankfort.
