CPR Training For Medical Professionals At Frankfort FPD
These life-saving methods are vital knowledge for medical professionals.
FRANKFORT, IL — Health care professional of all types are better off with good knowledge of how to recognize life-threatening emergencies and how to address them. That's why the BLS Healthcare Provider Course is offering classes in CPR and more.
The class, which is running 10 times into February, will cover recognizing life-threatening emergencies, providing CPR, using a defibrillator and relieving choking.
Attendees will learn how to "give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED," the Frankfort Fire Protection District said on their Facebook page.

The courses take place at the Frankfort Fire Protection District at 6 p.m., and the dates are:

The district says the intended attendees are "physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel."
