Cruisin' Frankfort Car Show Returns

The car shows kick off Monday, and run through Sept. 23.

FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort's annual car show will make its return, running through September in downtown Frankfort on Monday evenings.

Cruisin' Frankfort, held by the Frankfort Car Club, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. across the street from Trails Edge Restaurant, 20 Kansas St.

The car shows kick off Monday, and run through Sept. 23. Here's a look at this summer's line-up:

  • June 3, trucks and car-based pickups
  • June 10, Buick and Cadillac
  • June 17, Mustang
  • June 24, Street Rods, customs and lead sleds
  • July 1, emergency vehicles and military
  • July 8, Survivor cars
  • July 15, Corvette
  • July 22, Chrysler, Dodge and Viper
  • July 29, Ford, T-Bird and Lincoln
  • Aug. 5, Chevrolet
  • Aug. 12, Vintage scooters, motorcycles (20 years and older)
  • Aug. 19, Orphan makes
  • Sept. 9, rear engine, mid-engine and import cars
  • Sept. 16, all makes
  • Sept. 23, professional cars (hearses, flower cars)

There will not be a cruise night held on Aug. 26 or Sept. 2, due to Frankfort Fall Fest.
