FRANKFORT, IL — A Crete man wanted for snatching a diamond from a Frankfort jewelry store was apprehended and jailed Tuesday, police said.Jermaine Chambers, 41, was booked on a charge of felony theft in connection with his alleged April 21 caper.<a href="https://patch.com/illinois/frankfort/diamond-thief-snatched-stone-frankfort-store-cops-0">Chambers stole a 1.88 carat round diamond from Crescent Jewelers on South LaGrange Road</a>, according to a criminal complaint on file in Will County court.Chambers' bond was set at $75,000.
