FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort police have dealt with forgery, an attempted robbery and gave a citation over a revoked license in the past week. Here's what police had to say about their recent activity:

Around 8:20 p.m., police responded to the 9500 block of Lincoln Highway on a forgery call. A business reported receiving counterfeit $100 bills.

Attempted Robbery
Around 12:30 p.m., police responded to the 20100 block of La Grange Road on an attempted robbery call on a bank. The robber didn't get away with any money, police say. The FBI took over the case. The suspect was arrested in Chicago, police say.
July 21
License Revoked
Around 9:45 p.m., police issued a citation to a 33-year-old Frankfort man for driving with a revoked license. He was transported to the Will County jail.
